Our Values

At SECARESERVE we aim to Refine, by making better, health and social care delivery through the support we provide to individuals, their families and working with organisations. We intend to do this through one care package at a time, through every individual we provide service for and through working in partnership with Local Authorities & organisation at a time.

By R.E.F.I.N.I.N.G, we mean:

Relationship-based approach. We recognise that human connection is critical when providing the appropriate help to bring about change for the individual. We use relationship-based approaches in building positive, meaningful working relationships with the individuals we support or organisations we serve.

Empowerment. We understand power and powerlessness. We see individuals we work with as the experts on their own life and what they would like to archive. We work with individuals to ensure that they have choice, control, a voice, and support them to develop skills in various ways while working with them. We advocate on their behalf by providing individuals with relevant information regarding their circumstances in ways which are accessible to them.

Fulfilment. This is both a value and a goal for Secareserve. We are in this business to help our clients and service users live life fully and achieve things that may have been considered impossible. We wish to create a quality of life that makes our clients feel fulfilled and satisfied daily.

Importance. We realise that each individual’s priorities differ, so we use the concept of prioritisation to determine what is most important in a person-centred approach to help our clients design their care packages and deliver required services.

Newer ways. We consistently review our practices and devise better ways to care for and support individuals. By adopting a reflective practice in our approach, our staff reflect on their work at the end of the day, documenting what they can do better next time, and they are supported to archive this. Our MDT reviews each individual every week and liaise with the staff. We also complete regular mandatory reviews with the individual and support them by advocating for them with the voluntary and statutory organisations they are in contact with. We make their views, wishes and voices heard. We also draw learning from current case reviews and research to better our practices and services.

Innovation. We constantly strive to find innovative ways to excel in the care we provide and improve the quality of our work. We aim to creatively use our time and resources more effectively to provide unique and rewarding experiences. This is what makes us a personalised and cost-effective care provider.

Non-judgemental. We aim to welcome and represent a diverse range of individuals from different cultures, values, race, religion, gender etc and be open to meeting each person’s needs based on their diverse background and seek to find out what works for them without being judgemental, respecting their values.

Goal. At Secareserve, we aim to improve on each individual’s care and support experiences of the individual through sourcing our services. One of our fundamental goals in delivering services is reablement, where care receivers or patients’ independence is promoted. Our multi-disciplinary team of social workers, mental health nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and general nurses, come together to provide unique, strength-based approach services for people who, for example, need support to live in their own homes where possible or regain independence and confidence after illness and discharge from hospital. We aim to use all the tools at our disposal to empower them to live their lives to the full.
